Grade 4 Assembly
The Grade 4s hosted the first assembly to teach the school community about their new unit of inquiry.

What better way is there to teach real-life issues, when sharing the planet, other than putting on a performance that entices some inquiries.
They created the stage props, personalized the costumes, recited their lines, and shared some new dance moves.

How's this for collaboration, prekindergarten asked to be part of the mix offering to paint the factories with a brush and a flick.

By the time assembly arrived, they were beaming with excitement as they gave their best when performing - The Lorax by Dr Seuss - and sharing words of encouragement.

Whizz of the Week
Once again, the trophy seems to be making itself at home in our Grade 4 classroom. We are super proud of our new champion this week, WELL DONE!

Exploring
Identifying components of an ecosystem was the assignment at the end of this week. We found ourselves on a mission to explore and identify as many biotic and abiotic components in the local park. We also found ourselves quickly becoming a food source for the mosquitos.

How many biotic and abiotic components can you spot in their pictures?
