U3 The Naked Egg

An Egg-ceptional Week!
An exciting week indeed!
Our Remarkable Rhinos completed an engaging project on self-chosen famous scientists.
There was a collaborative spirit in the air, while busy mindfully crafting their posters they had very interesting conversations about their chosen scientists, these curiosities stimulated different questions as they tried to find similarities and connections between their scientists and the science world.
They presented their findings with confidence to the rest of the class and continued to engage in thought-provoking conversations during the 'question and answer' stage of their presentations.

For Mathematics and English, we continued then finished our assessments. In between our assessments the Grade 4s continued working independently in their Cambridge Mathematics and English Workbooks, good job Grade 4!

Calcium-carbonate and Albumen
Finishing off the week with some naked eggs, we began a new science project and hypothesised what might happen if we leave eggs in 4%vinegar, and in water.
